On A Sweeter Note

On a sweeter (less fibrous) note,

Here is Diletta's Thursday Temptation
recipe for the Best Blueberry Muffins
as promised.

We waited.
We gained a 
miniscule shred 
of self-control.

Now let's dive in.

1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar (or more for extra sweetness)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1/3 cup of milk
1-2 cups fresh blueberries

Preheat oven to 400F 
Mix dry ingredients
Combine wet ingredients
Then add the lot together.
Fold in blueberries.
Fill muffin cups



Sprinkle with crumbly topping for extra indulgence.

Crumb topping:

1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

Mix with fork and sprinkle over muffins before baking.

Bake for 20-25 minutes.
