Identity Thieves

In some tribes a newborn's name was
seen as both gift & curse.
The name signified who
they were to become.
Their life's purpose was
simply To-Do &
to be.

The ritual of naming also involved
whispering the chosen name
into the infant's ear
before bellowing
it out to the
tribe.

It seemed only fair
that the newborn
be the first
to know
who He
was

(rather than remain a stranger)

B&D questions:

How is there 2 of Us?

The Us that is
and the Us that
knows who We are

that knows We exist?

Is their 2 of 1?

In order to live
We need
acknowledgment
of life?
