German Curls & Parisian Lentils

German Curls & Parisian Lentils

If you wake up with German Curls using your lap for a pillow, you may quickly want to recollect the past 24 hours.

6:30ish AM
Travel to Bronte, from Bondi, for a handmade wholemeal toast & coffee brekkie with Buddhist Nun, grateful Vegemite is out of stock.

Half Past Nine
We, (Buddhist Nun & all) commence our exploration to the coast.

9:30ish to Midday
A rooster crosses the road,

We follow its path (not having one of our own) & are led to this charming Signor...

...a man We’ve never met, originating from Spain. In our broken Chilean, We try to converse. None of us really understand one another but it doesn’t seem to matter. A neighbour is a neighbour, & this one gave us four of his freshest eggs before We continued with our journey.

a COMPASSIONATE CONSUMPTION living tip:

Know your neighbours near & far.

Little Past Noon
Pick up rubbish (heaps of rubbish) off the village streets and parks (typical Saturday Morning Buddhist Nun duties & responsibilities.)

3PM
Finally arrive at Coogee Coastline & the Women’s Only Pool and Bath House. (20 cent entry fee, based on the honesty policy, compared to $5.50 fee based on the 'you will give us all your money now' policy at the Icebergs)

HungryTime
Stop by Bronte Community Garden (a shared public land). Here, one picks herbs, veggies and fruits, leaving plenty for others. Collecting a few swings of green onion, cilantro, rosemary & chives, We head back to our shelter to share a batch of Pumpkin Parisian Lentils ...

with a side of fresh egg scramble, & then depart & head back to the beach...

PART TWO: MEET GERMAN CURLS coming soon.
